Gate Inc. Training & Consulting will in partnership with Certiport, announce the champions of the Cameroon Digital Skills Championship soon. The national finals of the competition officials said, took place from April 17 to 18, 2026, in Douala. It brought together the country’s top-performing students who have successfully qualified through rigorous certification examinations in globally recognized digital programs. The competition featured three major tracks viz; Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Championship Cameroon, Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) Championship Cameroon, and the IC3 Digital Literacy Championship Cameroon. Participants qualified for the finals after demonstrating exceptional performance in certification exams, assessed based on speed, accuracy, and overall digital competence. The initiative, officials noted, aims to identify Cameroon’s most talented digital minds and prepare them for international competition at the global championships in the United States. According to Theodore Abah, Director of Gate Inc. Training and Consulting, the championship goes beyond certification to provide a platform for projecting Cameroon’s digital talent onto the global stage. He emphasized that the program is designed to empower young people with practical, workforce-ready digital skills while promoting innovation and competitiveness. Winners of the national finals, he said, will be crowned Cameroon National Technology Champions. Abah said they will form Team Cameroon 2026. The winners, he also added, will benefit from international exposure, official representation at global competitions, and access to a worldwide network of top-performing students. Since its introduction, the championship has contributed to the certification of thousands of students across Cameroon.
